     Surviving Tough Times:
 Counseling, Tools and Resources for
Small Business in Colorado

Is your business facing declining sales, shrinking profit margins, and reduced cash flow? 

Surviving tough economic times can be a difficult task for all small businesses.  Business owners need to understand the strengths and weaknesses of their business and then create a plan that provides a pathway to long-term survival.  Our goal is to help our Colorado small business community weather the economic storm and prepare for brighter days ahead. The SBA, State of Colorado, Office of the Governor, SCORE, statewide Small Business Development Centers, and other business organizations have established a series of hands-on small business health fairs that will address the immediate needs of Colorado small businesses. Representatives from federal, state and local governments, local financial institutions, and other business assistance resources will  be available for one-on-one consultations and advice.

This one day event will be open from 8:00am to 2:00pm and will be held in the following locations:
  
Durango                           Tuesday, March 17th, 2009 - 8:00 am to 1:00 pm - Ft. Lewis College  

Pre-Register for Counseling

Small business owners can register for FREE one-on-one counseling sessions with experienced small business counselors.  To make the most of your counseling session you should bring the following information with you.

          a.   Your most recent financial statements.
          b.   Your business plan (if you have one).
          c.   A list of your most important business problems.
          d.   A list of changes you have made or want to make.
